Purpose

DWWTC offers students the support of a registration staff to arrange classes, information, dates and payment.  Beyond registration, students are also provided the classroom address, local hotel information, area maps and an understanding of prerequisites necessary to attend a class to gain the most value. DWWTC's registration staff and secure web-based mechanisms offer students accurate and resourceful information for registering for classes, offering students the freedom of registering when they wish - as well as the opportunity to speak with a live representative.  Upon registration, students are sent the classroom and local hotel information as well as detailed course information that prepares them for their upcoming training event.

Billing

Payment can be secured by wire transfer, check, corporate PO or credit card.  Web registrations are available to allow after-hours registration for classes, as well as the opportunity to submit questions and queries regarding upcoming events. As with the airline industry, DWWTC recommends the policy that students can attend the class once they have paid, not in arrears.  For students that register late or walk into the classroom on Day One, we have a registration office that is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM so students can make arrangements for paying for class seats.  Students are normally not allowed into the classroom until payment is made.

Reporting

DWWTC's registration mechanism populates an SQL database that can be used to generate reports, track performance and manage student attendance that certification or corporate programs require.
Before each class, instructors are given a roster of the registered students for a given event.  Students that have registered for a class normally are requested to initial this form, providing a tracking mechanism that a given student has actually attended the course.
Class certificates can be provided in the classroom or DWWTC can arrange to have paperwork mailed to attendees at the conclusion of the class.

Process

Class dates and locations are provided in a pull-down menu for ease of identifying proper classes.  Students registering for classes can select one of 3 methods to register for training events:

  • Web
  • Telephone
  • Email

Depending on the event date, students will be guided to pay before they are allowed to attend the class (less than 5 days requires payment by credit card).

Web registrations are completed using a secure web site, offering students a convenient and safe method or payment.
