Course Overview
In the updated 3-day PAN-EDU-205 class (re-released in January2012), students will learn advanced configuration topics on Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. Students will be introduced to configuration scenarios and will be given fault analysis tools for real-life situations involving client networking, security, and threat prevention. Students will experience the accurate reporting and logging features of PAN-OS, the security-specific operating system that controls every Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall.
Students will configure into high end deployment scenarios by deploying networking, security, threat prevention, reporting and logging features of PAN-OS in an advanced network design. Additional subjects include an in-depth look at High Availability configuration and deployment, GlobalProtect and Panorama.
Using a combination of instructor lecture and hands-on labs, this class will give students an in-depth understanding of how App-ID, User-ID, Content-ID, GlobalProtect and Panorama during the remaining chapters of the course.
