Course Overview
This three-day course discusses troubleshooting tools and concepts for WX Series platforms and several advanced topics. Key topics include redundancy and backup strategies, encryption, advanced application definitions, and troubleshooting of major technology areas for WX Series devices.
The course coverage is two-fold: 1) advanced WX topics, such as SSL and IPsec encryption, redundant designs, and packet interception mode; 2) WX troubleshooting topics such as diagnosing issues, using troubleshooting tools, as well as troubleshooting compression and acceleration. The course uses lecture and lab to identify Acceleration implementations and operation such as High-Availability networks, QoS, performance monitoring, fragmentation, compression and monitoring of all traffic types. The course ends with an in-depth use of the WX Central Management System (CMS) software.
