Course Overview
In this 3-day course, the student will gain the practical knowledge, skills and confidence required to install, turn-up and maintain Advanced Ethernet Services over SONET networks through Traverse 2000/1600/600 products. through lecture sessions and extensive hands on training, students will learn the advanced Ethernet features of the Traverse 2000/1600/600 and how to implement Traverse technologies associated with the aggregation and transport of Advanced Ethernet services over SONET networks.
Students will also learn how to provision Traverse 2000/1600/600 utilizing either CLI or GUI associated with Advanced Ethernet technologies and how to maintain and troubleshoot utilizing either CLI or Graphical User Interface.
The course combines both lecture and labs, with significant time allocated for hands-on experience in the lab.

Network engineers, technical support personnel and others responsible for implementing and/or maintaining the Force10 Networks products and features covered in this course.
This course benefits individuals responsible for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Force10 S, C and E-Series products.
Course Outline
Prerequisites
Students should have a basic understanding of LAN systems and a general knowledge of switching and routing. It is preferable that students have already taken the Force10 SONET/SDH Basics course.
