Desktop Technician

The Desktop Technician ensures the proper functioning of desktop hardware, software, printers, copiers, fax machines, copiers, and scanners.

Additional responsibilities include performing administrative and technical duties related to the current use of technology on the desktop resources.

The Desktop Technician serves as the initial contact for users of all IT supported systems, applications, and services in the operation and maintenance of the company’s computer equipment

PC (a.k.a., Computer) Technician

The job description of a Computer Technician involves being the "go to" person when office personnel are experiencing computer problems.

Installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software are the general tasks included in the job description of a Computer Technician. Often, a Computer Technician also works on servers.

When the position is related to hardware, the job description of a Computer Technician includes diagnosing, repairing, replacing parts, and testing. Should a product need to be returned to a vendor for further repair, the technician takes on the responsibility of corresponding with the vendor.

For software, the position involves installing, updating, and troubleshooting applications. Other tasks that may be included in the job description of a Computer Technician are designing and troubleshooting internal computer networks.

The ability to solve problems quickly is a valuable attribute for this position. Overall, it is the responsibility of the Computer Technician to face emergent challenges without getting overwhelmed. Experienced technicians recognize that it is more critical to solve existing and real problems as they arise than to prepare for all potential issues.

Applications Developer

Application Developers design, build, test, and implement the software code that enables computer systems to perform specific tasks. They design the logic that delivers the computing system functionality.

In addition, this position is responsible for testing the application and developing enhancements that enable a positive end-user experience. Essentially, they produce application programs in accordance with a specified business need.

Application developers typically work as part of a project team, and also communicate progress, technical issues, and their resolution.

Exchange Administrator

Exchange Administrators are responsible for:

  • Maintaining a large, multi-site Exchange environment.
  • Handling multiple SMTP relay appliances.
  • Deploying and managing mobile Email devices (i.e. BlackBerry).
  • Handling a significant infrastructure designed for Email delivery, backup, and archival.
This position will share on-call responsibilities with other members of the Messaging Infrastructure Team.

Network Support Technician

Primary responsibilities will include the first level support for Managed Services clients. High level responsibilities will include performing initial troubleshooting for network, IPT, and security issues. Network Support Technicians:

  • Communicate issues.
  • Provide updates to network carriers and clients.
  • Escalate issues internally.
  • Maintain and ticket the alerts/events that come into the network monitoring tools.

Database Administrator

Database Administrators (DBA) ensure database availability and downtime meets company service level agreements. This position is responsible for the database backup/recovery, physical layout, development, deployment, and maintenance.

In addition, a DBA provides subject matter expertise in new database design, participating in design reviews to identify impact to database performance and administration. Responsible for problem resolution with SQL Server / Oracle and third parties as appropriate, DBA’s will monitor, diagnose, and improve database performance. The position collaborates with Information Security teams to ensure database security and will work with support teams to assist in identification and resolution of database problems.

Project Manager

Project Managers (PM) manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects.

PM’s have experience in implementing engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with company methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of consulting engagements as measured by regional goals and customer satisfaction.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects.
  • Minimizes company exposure and risk across multiple projects.
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Manages and analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects.
  • Reviews high-level deliverables across projects.

Security Administrator

Security Administrators possess a knowledge of enterprise data architecture, systems engineering, and data communications as applied to the automated storage and retrieval of information, using multiple platforms and protocols with the inherent security risks of each.

In addition, this position requires knowledge of and experience in:

  • Threat analysis risk management, configuration management, business continuity and contingency planning.
  • Knowledge administrative, procedural, and technical controls used to reduce security risks, and experience authoring or adapting security procedures and policy manuals.
  • Oracle database security, Intrusion Detection, CISCO PIX Firewall, Web content Filtering, Mail Gateways, VPN, CISCO Routers and Register hardware and software on a Microsoft Windows platform.

Lastly, a Security Admin typically has excellent oral skills in order to interact with staff, other agencies and groups, and contractors, and to coordinate efforts to promote awareness of technical security issues.

Medical Billing Specialist

For Medical Billing Specialists, qualified candidates must have a thorough understanding of medical billing procedures. Previous office administration follow-up experience; referral and authorizations; rejections and/or refund experience is beneficial.

This position requires:

  • Attention-to-detail
  • The ability to interact successfully with all departmental staff and company vendors
  • Versatility and adaptability to change
  • Computer/internet experience required.

Medical Administrative Assistant

Medical Executive Assistants need to perform administrative duties for executive management. Responsibilities include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, calendaring, preparing reports, training and customer relations. This position requires:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Adheres to strict confidentiality.
  • Excellent Office Suite.

Medical Coding Clerk

Preferred candidates will be certified and have experience with ICD-9 & CPT coding along with posting payments to patients accounts, and have a strong attention to detail.

As like the Medical Administrative Assistant, responsibilities include screening calls, making travel and meeting arrangements, calendaring, preparing reports, training and customer relations. This position requires:
