This 5-day (4- hours per day) Juniper Networks Implementing Intrudsion Detection and Prevention (E-IIDP) course prepares students for the JNO-541 exam and JNCIA-IDP Certification.
This E-IIDP course is available via DWWTC E-Learning Services, providing LIVE instructor-led delivery via the internet. Students require internet access at DSL speeds during the class that runs roughly from 10AM - 2PM (eastern) each day.
This Juniper Networks E-IIDP LIVE E-Learning course provides the requisite knowledge and familiarity with the NetScreen IDP product line to successfully deploy IDP. The key areas covered are primarily presented through the IDP management GUI, and include architecture; deployment modes; understanding rulebase usage; profiler; dynamic/static attack groups; protocol support; policy creation; and attack investigation techniques.
Juniper Networks Technical Certification
This E-IIDP course also prepares students for the Juniper Networks Certification exam, whose topics are based on the content of this course. Upon completion of this course combined with additional practice, students should be able to pass the JNCIA-IDP Certification exam (JN0-541). The Juniper Networks Technical Certification Program (JNTCP) consists of platform-specific, multitiered tracks, which enable participants to demonstrate, through a combination of written proficiency exams and hands-on configuration and troubleshooting exams, competence with Juniper Networks technology.
Target Audience
Network engineers, support personnel, reseller support, and technicians responsible for implementing and monitoring Netscreen Intrusion Detection products.
Objectives
By the end of this E-IIDP course, attendees will be able to identify the appropriate implementation and usage of the IDP product at a foundational level. Additionally they will be prepared to take the advanced IDP course upon development and release in Fall 2006.
